They tell employees where to turn first when a workplace injury occurs
Here are some practical steps you can take to help your company respond to workplace injuries the right way every time:
  • Select two responsible individuals—a primary and a backup—to serve as your workers compensation injury coordinators.

  • If you have multiple facilities, choose a separate set of coordinators for each location.

  • Once you’ve named your coordinators, write their names and phone numbers on this colorful poster to let employees know their identity. >>

  • Hang one poster on every bulletin board in your company to make it impossible for workers to miss them. That way, if and when a job-related injury occurs, co-workers will know where to turn first.
Just let your independent Harleysville agent know you want one or more “What to do when you get hurt on the job” posters—and where you’d like them sent. Once your agent places the order, we’ll be sure to mail them within a few days.
